Exhibitions are a great way for businesses to showcase their products or services to a large audience. However, with so many exhibitors competing for attention, it can be challenging to attract visitors to your stand. In this blog post, we will discuss some effective strategies to help you stand out from the crowd and attract more people to your exhibition stand.

Display

One of the most important aspects of your exhibition stand is the display. A well-designed and eye-catching display can help to draw visitors to your stand. Make sure to use high-quality graphics and images that reflect your brand and message. Use bright colours and bold fonts to make your display stand out from the rest. You can also consider using interactive displays or demonstrations to engage visitors and keep them interested.

Giveaways and promotions are a great way to attract visitors to your stand. People love free stuff, so offering a promotional item or sample can be an effective way to draw them in. There are so many giveaway options; some of the old favourites include pens (who doesn’t love a good pen!), car air fresheners, sweets, canvas bags or sample products. There are also some great higher end giveaways such as cocktails (!), coffee, icecream and more.

Staffing

Make sure to have a knowledgeable and friendly member or members of staff at your stand who can answer questions and provide information about your product or service. You also need a way to collect visitor’s information so you can get in touch with them after the event. You could collect business cards for a prize draw, or have a simple email sign up list.

Interaction

This member or members or staff should be able to encourage visitors to interact with your display or participate in a demonstration. This may be through hiring a game such as the Buzz Wire, Cash Grabber, Pick n Mix Stand, Strike a Light, Frustration, Scalextric, Golf Putting Challenge or a Prize Wheel. You can also consider offering a prize or incentive for visitors who participate in the activity. But how do you choose which activity to use? Start off by assessing how much space you have available and then look at how much space the activity will take up. Another way to decide is what budget do you have available. Each activity varies in prize and one activity may be more suited to your budget than another. Finally, what is the purpose of the activity? Do you intend to give out prizes, collect emails or have a conversation. Some activities will be more suited to each purpose. For example a cash grabber is a simple way to give out a prize as it is easy to have prize written on the same number of money as prizes available.
